Happy Sunday! Actually, I’m not that happy that it’s Sunday….that just mean Monday is quickly approaching – BLAH! It ended up being a pretty uneventful weekend. Just your weekend basics of cleaning and picking up groceries….nothing to write home about, that’s for sure!
I’m not a big coffee drinker, but I like to have a cup every once in a blue moon. Anyways, I was at Bed, Bath & Beyond a couple of weeks ago and was checking out there selection of K-cups for the Keurig. Then I noticed they had some sample boxes for $2.99 that had 3 k-cups of the flavor you wanted to try. That’s perfect for me, since I haven’t tried much coffee. I’d hate to splurge and buy a box of 24 & then end up not liking the flavor. Although, I did order some flavors on a whim this weekend too….more on that in a bit. Well, one particular flavor caught my eye that I had never seen before…
The Original Donut Shop brand coffee in COCONUT MOCHA!!! YES, PLEASE! How can you turn down the possibility of a drink that tastes like a Mounds bar? I’ll take my chances. I’m so glad I did…this flavor was Aaaaa-mazing! You don’t find this non-coffee drinker saying that very often about coffee, so you’ve got to know it’s good if I’m saying it! The smell of the coffee when it’s brewing is heaven alone! When it got done brewing, I put in a little sweetener & a small dollop of frozen fat free cool whip and stirred it up. Bliss in a cup I tell ya! If you like coconut & chocolate….this coffee is screaming for you to try it. If you just want to try it first, I’d suggest stopping by a Bed, Bath & Beyond like I did to see if they carry it.
While drinking my yummy coconut mocha, I was cleaning out my e-mail and I came across a coupon from when I registered my Keurig. It was buy two boxed and get two free, so I went straight to the website hoping they had this flavor, but they didn’t….Wah, wahhh! So I went ahead and browsed a bit and read up on the stuff with the best reviews. So I ended up getting Celestial Seasons Sleepy Time Tea, which I’ve had and loved. It has just a hint of spearmint flavor…super good! Then since my favorite flavor before today was the Cafe Mocha, I decided to try the Cafe Caramel. While I was looking at Chocolate flavors….I came across a Chocolate Glazed Donut Flavor….”Add to Cart”….then last, but not least I kind of took a chance and ordered a Wild Blueberry flavor. It had fab reviews, so I figured I’d take a gamble. Anyways…I got free shipping and two boxes free, so I spent $30 on 96 K-Cups! Fan-Freaking-Tabulous!
If you got a Keurig and didn’t register it online, make sure you do….it’s totally worth the coupon! Have a great rest of the weekend!
Long time, no see! Man…I didn’t realize I hadn’t blogged since February! Yikes…my bad! I’m not sure I like this new look of blogger, but I guess I’ll get used to it. Part of the reason I’ve been absent from blogging is because I’ve been going to different places around the Orlando/Kissimmee area and writing up some travel blogs/reviews for i.seekissimmee.com I’ve always wanted to be a travel writer & even though anyone can apply to be a guest blogger for the website (AND you get paid $700 for your week of posts), it makes me feel like I’m an actual travel writer, especially since I’ll be getting a pay check for my posts! Any who, I’ve basically been saving all the posts I’ve pre-written for my posts for i.seekissimmee.com. Next week, all of my posts will go live, so you’ll have to check them all out! I’ll make sure to post them on here as well. I haven’t decided whether to post them as actual posts or just stick in links to the posts under my travel review tab. I’ll let you know what I decide to do.
Other than that, not much new going on here since I last posted. Started a new diet this past Monday. Decided to try out Nutrisystem, since I like the fact everything is portion controlled and pretty cut and dry as to what you eat, which I need. My official weigh in isn’t until Monday morning, but as of this morning I’m down 6.5lbs so far! Talk about amped! Love to see the scale go down! Now I’ve just got to get into the routine of throwing in some exercise.
Well, I’ll leave you with a photo collage of places I’ve been and that I wrote about for my featured travel posts this week. Hope you check them all out next week! Happy Saturday!
